Carla Ramos is the Site Head and Vice President of Operations at Nitrase Therapeutics. Carla has over a decade of experience driving growth and operational efficiency in early-stage life sciences companies. With a foundation in scientific research and a track record for building infrastructure across HR, IT, finance, and facilities, she has played a key role in scaling biotech startups through periods of rapid growth.
Currently, as Vice President of Operations and Site Head at Nitrase Therapeutics, Carla leads initiatives ranging from lab and office buildouts to G&A optimization and regulatory compliance. Earlier in her career, she held research and operations roles at Elan Pharmaceuticals and iPerian/True North Therapeutics/Bioverativ, contributing to assay development, lab oversight, and team leadership.
She holds degrees in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University.
